I wrote a blog post eons ago, too lazy to find it and I took my Sharon Long blog down since anyway hehe, but it was called "Middle Finger on the Spine"

I'm very unapologetic about my reading choices. Don't give a flying fuck what anyone thinks about what I read OR write.

I'm guesting at the I heart Presents blog talking about just how unapologetic I am about my adoration for Harlequin Presents lol.

But basically, my premise was reading a book, cover out, middle finger on the spine. If you don't like my reading material, are scornful, disdainful, whatever, concentrate instead on that middle finger staring back at you

Great entry, Lauren. I never have understood why people get freaked out over their personal reading choices. That's like having strangers pick out your clothes.

Uh, did somebody out there actually we can pick covers that will make men more likely to buy a romance?

First of all, I don't have that kind of power, and second of all, if I did, why would I use it to aim my books at somebody other than their target market?
