"He did not back her feelings up," so, it's very true to life then. Most men don't back their female partners where feelings are concerned. In real life, most men don't even notice their partners have feelings.

I've enjoyed watching Eve and Roarke grow so much as a couple that it is disappointing to know that their relationship suffers because of some (read stupid)outside source. I won't scratch Roarke off my favorite hero list yet, though his pedestal might be a wee bit cracked for awhile.

Anne, I was really nervous but Nora handled it well, she really did. He was, hmm, blinded by this woman for a number of reasons but he wasn't on the make with her. Anyway, like I said, I loved it and I think Nora did a fabulous job, I just want to see him scrape more and to be more humbled by the pain Eve went through. There's always the next book for that to happen.

 Crap. I'm about to start this right now... I'm scared! I don't want Roarke to be a jerk... especially to Eve. I may have a problem with this one... I just hope it's not too big of a problem that Nora turns me off the series. Damn. I'll pop back over when I'm done. I'm NERVOUS. LOL
