Lauren, We are safe and staying home, but there are stories of much property damage...flooded property, cars, and trucks, houses, businesses, and roads and railroad tracks out, also. I haven't seen any flooding this bad since the early 60's. National Guard is out and and the town where I grew up has been tols to turn their power off, because of the flooding.

The water is receding from our land, and the road in front of our house, but the road is still flooded and up to the front doors of 5 house accross our road.

My husband and I are thankful we are safe....after being burned out of our home in Dec. 1999, we know we couyld start over again, but don't want to!

Blessings to everyone who is going through this.
