**Edited – This is a new cover with a different font from the one I’d put up earlier. I think this font change makes a HUGE difference and I like it so much better this way**
Got the cover for Vengeance Due yesterday. Here it is. Yes, that’s a feather boa. But I do love the shadowy face in the background and the brick wall is nice too because a very important scene takes place in an alley. I love the blue, it’s very dreamy and sensual. In reality, Kael has protective runes tattooed all over his body and he’s got tight muscle (think Brad Pitt in Fight Club) and his hair is very short and platinum blond. Simone is amazingly beautiful with long flowing brunette hair – you won’t hate her though, I promise.
I’m sooooo close to being finished with Tri Mates! I’m at about 61K and I think I’ll wrap up at about 65 or 66k. Wrote a DP scene last night, heh.
Once I finish up I need to get back to the Sword and Crown partial and the back to Battlefront. In and around this, I expect edits to begin to trickle in so I imagine I’ll be a busy woman. Well, okay, busier.

Nice cover.
So is there a feather boa in the actual book?

Good lord no. The boa was not my idea. But as my husband reminds me, I should stop bitching because I have it pretty darned good.

This cover is just so-so to me. The feather boa seems a little cheesy to me. I do like the colors of the cover, but I definitely have liked your other covers better.

This cover is nice Lauen. The boa could probably go but the colors are very nice. I like.

I like it, but I think the title should be up higher, or the title and author name not so close together.
Makes you wonder how cover artists decide what to do.

I love the colors in your cover, Lauren. Feather boa? Hmmm…that’s quite an original idea 🙂
