Dave, thanks for posting this. I've been wanting to read the book for some time now and while I do joke about the fabulousness of watching Heath and Jake in love scenes, I do have a great, deep hope that the more that we see movies and books that feature love and relationships between gays and lesbians, the closer we can come as a culture to accepting that love is love.

Well, the link got cut off, but you can click on my name.

And a direct link to my post on the Indie noms is here: http://blogs.salon.com/0001137/2005/11/29.html#a1773

And btw, I saw it at the Denver Film Fest, and it was incredible. Even better than the book.

And whle we're at it, last night, Rolling Stone posted its review by Peter Travers. Four stars. Link:

(That link is probably too long, too. Follow the link on my name to get to all of them.)

You can never speak too much about Brokeback Mountain. hahaha.

Really, though, I hope not. I have been deluging my readers with it.

And it just picked up four Indie Spirit noms this morning, tied for second behind The Squie & The Whale.

Links to more info on that and just about everything you could imagine on Brokeback here:

http://blogs.salon.com/0001137/stories/2005/09/25/brokebackMountain.html

I built an entire web page for it. Make me stop!!! (No, don't.)
