gaucho pants are back. Were they not scarring enough for my generation that a brand new generation of women needs to be damaged permanently by their inherent ugliness?
Oh and genie shoes.
You think I’m kidding but I’m not. Genie shoes, flat, pointy toes, are all the rage. And genie pants in shiny material. I’m cringing as I write this.
I ask you, what’s next? Knickers? They have to be in that thick, ugly corduroy and worn with knee socks. I hear from my friend, Trish, that Nordstroms is selling a huge amount of knee socks. This concerns me.

Hey, I loved knickers and argyle socks! (Maybe an early indication that I’d end up in a horse related profession).
And Granny dresses! They were great, so bring them back. (Though of course I was about in 7th grade when they were popular).
Now if you want ugly. Bell bottom pants and clunker platform shoes. Out here in the golden state (California) they seem to be the fad.
